How settlements work

We batch your confirmed payments into settlement cycles and settle each batch to your account on a fixed daily schedule. Your account runs on either four or six settlement cycles per day.

Settlement cycles

Your account is set to one of two schedules, both anchored to IST:

• Four cycles per day — every six hours, with windows closing at 00:00, 06:00, 12:00, and 18:00 IST.

• Six cycles per day — every four hours, with windows closing at 00:00, 04:00, 08:00, 12:00, 16:00, and 20:00 IST.

At each boundary, the payments that were confirmed during the window that just closed are grouped into one settlement for your account. We set your cycle count when we set up your account.

What settles

Only confirmed (SUCCESS) payments from the closed window are settled. Each settlement records the gross amount collected, the fees deducted, and the net amount due to you. Fees are covered in the Fees article.
